UPS
Here's a copy of the letter I jsut sent to UPS. You'd think a company the size if UPS would actually make sure their drivers can actually READ THE ADDRESSES ON A PRINTED LABEL!
As luck would have it the people who actually GOT my package were honest and gave it back
RE: Package tracking number: 1Z 121 682 03 0235 743 9
This letter is to inform UPS Corporate Headquarters as to why neither my company nor any shipment coming to my company will ever use UPS again. I had ordered a computer system for one of my clients to be shipped UPS ground to my location. On the day of the delivery the UPS “driver” delivered the package to the wrong address…again. I had already stopped him from delivering one package incorrectly this same week. After calling the 800 number, I was basically told I was wrong that the driver had delivered to the correct address. After disputing this fact and being placed on hold several times only to be told there was nothing that UPS could to fix their mistake I hung up. UPS had delivered a $1000.00 PC to god knows who with no documentation.
I took it upon myself to track down the package, track down the people who received the package, contact them AND arrange to pickup the package. ALL of this should have been done by UPS as soon as they were notified of their error. Your inability to perform the bare minimum of customer service is the last straw. I have suffered through rude and downright ignorant employees, slow deliveries, very expensive packages left outside for anyone and everyone to take. No more will I be subjected to the pleasure of being treated this way while paying for that privilege.
I will take great pleasure in telling everyone I can how UPS treats packages that their customers think are important.
